Welcome to Sunday Assembly Fort Worth

A Secular Assembly for Community, Fellowship, and Understanding

Sunday Assembly Fort Worth is a welcoming, secular community built on humanism,
fellowship, and meaningful conversation. We gather to explore big ideas—from ethics to
consciousness—in ways that help us reflect on our lives and the world around us. Our mix of
curiosity and camaraderie creates a space where real connections grow.

We avoid partisan politics, but we’re not disengaged. Instead, we practice “light politics,”
looking at how justice, equality, and human rights shape society. We focus on understanding
issues, having thoughtful dialogue, and forming our own perspectives rooted in reason and
empathy.

At our core is a commitment to social justice and community service. Members volunteer, learn,
support one another, and work toward a more equitable world. SAFW shows how a secular
community can make a real difference through compassion, critical thinking, and shared purpose.

Sunday Assembly January 25. 2026
has been
CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER

Upcoming:

Our next meeting is February 8, 2026

Speaker: Mark Metcalf

On Sunday January 25 Mark will share his view that cities need more public transportation, as well as better pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure. He is passionate about engaging in discussions about traffic issues, attributing some problems to the lack of sufficient public transit options and urban sprawl that forces reliance on cars.

We will be meeting at Ensemble Coworking
